The final cover of FIFA 18 is known! Cristiano Ronaldo is celebrating in the new Real Madrid jersey.
On this Sunday, August 20th, EA Sports unveiled the final cover of FIFA 18. Via Twitter, they presented the PS4 cover, which will be available in stores starting at the end of September 2017:

In previous promotional material for FIFA 18, Cristiano Ronaldo was always seen wearing the jersey of the previous season 16/17. On the preliminary cover, CR7 was depicted in a more contemplative pose:
That the Portuguese mega-star will be the new cover star of FIFA 18 has been known since early June. He is the face of the upcoming football simulation. EA Sports advertises that Cristiano Ronaldo supported the gameplay innovations and, thanks to “Motion Capture” data from him, has taken game elements like game flow, player reactions, and explosiveness to a new level.
By the way: The cover star before Cristiano Ronaldo was Marco Reus. For FIFA 17, the community could choose from four players whom they wanted to see on the cover. In FIFA 18, the cover star is now predetermined. Before Reus, Lionel Messi was the cover star for many years (since FIFA 13).

New is that EA Sports presented the PS4 cover of FIFA 18. For years, Microsoft had a marketing deal with EA Sports and the FIFA series for the Xbox. For FIFA 18, EA and Sony are working hand in hand.
Next week, Gamescom will be held in Cologne. At this fair, FIFA 18 will be playable for visitors. To get the fan community excited beforehand, EA Sports will release a trailer tomorrow, August 21. As soon as it is released, we will report on it.
