The “Team of the Season” (TOTS) event in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team has started. Here you can find all the information about the “Team of the Season”, SBCs, and TOTS predictions.
After the “Team of the Year” (TDJ), the “Team of the Season” (TDS) is the largest FUT event. Every year, FIFA players prepare for it by hoarding their coins to assemble their final ultimate team.
The release of the “Team of the Season” is on April 27th at 7 PM. During the TDS promo, another major event starts with the World Cup mode.
The end of the “Team of the Season” event will likely be on June 8th.
The following TOTS have already been released:
New in FUT 18: 50 “Rest of the World” Players and Guaranteed TOTS SBCs
The “Rest of the World” (RDW) TOTS looks a bit different this year. It includes 50 players, with 10 released each week.
Additionally, there is an official SBC schedule. In these SBCs, players receive guaranteed TDS players from the respective league. In addition to the “Rest of the World” SBCs on Wednesday, guaranteed league SBCs will be available every Sunday and Tuesday.
As last year, you can earn TOTS cards through the Daily Knockout Tournament. Each week, there is a card to earn from the league that was released the previous Friday.
Release Dates for All League TOTS
This year, the TDS distribution looks a bit different. Instead of many smaller League TOTS, there is now the large RDW TOTS, only the top leagues, as well as the EPL, get their own “Team of the Season”.
TOTS Release Dates:
- April 27 to May 4: Community TOTS and Football League TOTS (England 2)
- May 4 to May 11: Premier League TOTS
- May 11 to May 18: LaLiga TOTS
- May 18 to May 25: Bundesliga TOTS (Determined by fan voting)
- May 25 to June 1: Ligue 1 TOTS and Serie A TOTS
- June 1 to June 8: EA Sports/Ultimate TOTS
Additionally, every week 10 of the 50 “Rest of the World” TOTS players will be released. As we explained in the previous section, that’s how you get these cards.
TOTS Predictions: Here Are the Predictions for Each League
Wherever there are special cards in FUT, predictions for the teams also appear. Predictions are forecasts of which players might receive an upgraded card. They should always be taken with caution, as no one knows for sure who EA will give a – in this case – TOTS card.

This is How You Voted for the “FIFA 18 Community TOTS”
The voting ran until April 20th. The winners were announced on April 27th.
For the “Community TOTS”, a list of 100 players was available, from which 23 made it into the “Team of the Season”.
It is somewhat similar to the “Most Consistent TOTS” of previous years: All players in the selection have in common that they have not received a special card in FUT 18, even though they (mostly) delivered consistently good performances.
EA has included the well-known FUT databases Futhead and Futwiz in their voting this year. To cast your votes, simply follow the links and submit your 23 favorites. At Futwiz, this is possible without registration, while at Futhead you must log in first.
The shortlist for the “Community Team of the Season” voting
The list of potential candidates for a “Team of the Season” card consists of 36 forwards, 35 midfielders, 20 defenders, and 9 goalkeepers.

What is the “Team of the Season” actually?
