FIFA 17 Web App: Unable to log in – Server issues, no invitation

In FIFA 17, signing into the FUT17 web app is causing issues. Players are reporting that they are not invited to the web app. 

Update: According to EA Sports, the web app is now available. The transfer market function is also working.

Last night, on September 20th, the web app went live. However, the excitement was limited – and turned into frustration for many fans. Only a small fraction of all FIFA fans gained access to the app. The others were dismissed with the statement that they were not invited to the early access and should please wait until the release of FIFA 17. The web app is not functioning for many.

Actually, all players who already have an existing “Ultimate Team” club should now be able to log in. However, EA Sports is on it. According to community manager Rob Hodson, the issue is being investigated.

Login Issues with the “FUT 17” Web App

According to Hodson, EA Sports is currently working on the invitations to the web app. His last update was today around 8 AM, stating that work is still ongoing.

It is therefore likely that you might get early access to the web app at some point during the day – or in the coming days. However, a specific time cannot be given at the moment.

By the way: The login screen at the web app has changed for everyone who still does not have access. It no longer states that you were not invited, but rather that the servers are currently unreachable. Improvements are being made, and users are asked for patience. No Access to the “Web App” Transfer Market

Some fans are already in the app and were able to open their first packs yesterday. However, they could not use the items in the transfer market yet. Apparently, there are problems with the transfer market, and no transfers can currently be made. One should play FUT 17 on the respective platform to unlock the transfer market.

At the moment, there’s probably nothing to do but: wait and drink tea. But the fans agree: it is extremely unfair that some could collect their daily gifts yesterday while many are still waiting for the invitation.
