A gameplay video has been released for FIFA 17, showcasing a new feature: the improved physical play.
In recent days, EA Sports has gradually released gameplay videos highlighting the four main new features of FIFA 17:
- Reworked set pieces
- Adaptive player intelligence
- Diverse attacking techniques
- Improved physical play
Now the final video has been released, demonstrating the new physical interaction. Eden Hazard also shares a few words about this innovation. Take a look:
The improved physical play in FIFA 17
In all areas of the pitch, the physical interaction of players has been redesigned. This aims to give you more control in the battle for space and ball possession. Here are the main revisions:
- Pushback technology: This gives you more time until your teammates are in good positions. Innovations in ball reception, dribbling, physics, and defense allow you to better control the ball and keep it within your ranks.
- New physical play: Players now increasingly utilize their bodies, aiming to make the action on the pitch more dynamic. This includes goalkeeper collisions, aerial duels, ball control when shielding, and positional battles while the ball is in the air.
- 360° shielding: Shielding has also been improved. You can fend off opponents while dribbling in any direction and defend your ball possession.
