FIFA 17’s first title update is here. We have the patch notes for you.
Update: The patch version 1.02 is now also available on PS4. The download size is just under 800 MB.
FIFA 17 has been on the market for about two weeks now. During this time, EA Sports has been working on the first patch, which addresses issues that have arisen and responds to community feedback.
The first title update is now available for download on PC. It will follow at a later date on PS4 and Xbox One.

Important changes in Ultimate Team:
- A problem with the single-player difficulty has been fixed.
- In FUT online matches, you now have to substitute an injured player. There was a bug related to this.
Changes in Pro Clubs:
- Your pros now require more experience to achieve high overall ratings. The current values of your pros will be reduced as a result. However, this is intentional, and you will not lose any progress.
- A problem will be fixed where your pro’s face was not displayed correctly on the field.
Change in Career Mode:
- The CPU AI often left top players on the bench. This should now change.
Several changes to gameplay: Goalkeepers position themselves better at corners, player substitutions during free kicks and corners have been improved, headers from corners have been adjusted, some celebration actions have been revised, and cutscenes of controversial fouls can now be skipped. Additionally, passes and shots have been adjusted. Furthermore, the AI has been worked on to attack directly, and ball physics have been enhanced.
There are also several visual fixes. For example, the goalkeeper now celebrates as intended when he saves the last penalty.
