In FIFA 17, the first Team of the Week, known as “TOTW”, is revealed. Bundesliga stars are included, which you can now obtain in upgraded versions in FUT 17.
Every Wednesday, EA Sports reveals the Team of the Week in the “Ultimate Team” mode of their annual football simulation. This is also the case in FIFA 17. Players who stood out in real football over the past week are rewarded with special cards that have improved attributes.
You can draw the TOTW cards from packs within a week, which may contain rare players. However, the chance of that is considered low. Additionally, it is possible to purchase them on the transfer market if offered by other players. However, the prices are often extremely high.
Since the official release of FIFA 17 in Europe is on September 29, not all fans have the chance to draw players from this first TOTW from packs. Today, on September 22, early access begins through EA Access, and the web app is live, enabling transfer market features and pack opening.
The TOTW Players – Week 1
Already in the first week, there are some highlights in the Team of the Week. The highest overall rating is held by De Bruyne with 89, making him a powerful CM. His shooting, passing, and dribbling attributes stand out. Additionally, Cavani from PSG and Castro from Dortmund are interesting. Here is the complete team:

The TOTW of the first week consists of a starting eleven and 12 substitutes, totaling 23 players.
The TOTW players are available in packs every week from Wednesday at 7 PM until the following Wednesday at 6:45 PM. On the transfer market, however, they are available throughout the year – as long as they are offered by players.
A few months ago, there were heated discussions about a glitch in the team chemistry in the FUT mode. It was reported that all TOTW cards were ultimately worse than the normal standard cards. This glitch has since been fixed, and nothing should stand in the way of enjoying these cards in packs.
