In FIFA 17, prices are crashing on the transfer market in the “Ultimate Team” mode. The reason: Black Friday.
Update: Black Friday has started. Here are the details about the packs and events.
When is the best moment to acquire cheap players in FUT 17? When are the “Market Crashes”? When is it particularly worthwhile to invest the valuable coins? A good time is: This week.
But beware: It is nearly impossible to predict exact price developments in FUT 17. This year, there are several new cards that FUT Champions rewards and surprising Squad Building Challenges, which strongly influence the prices. Nevertheless, it can already be observed: Prices are falling!
The biggest influence on the market: Events
Many factors determine player prices on the transfer market. However, the biggest influence comes from the events that take place throughout the year. Knowing when these events occur and how they impact the market can earn you thousands of coins. Often there is a Market Crash. Why?
The fans of FUT are on the hunt for the big pack luck. “At some point, I must get a Messi or a Ronaldo in my set!” During such FUT events, lucrative pack offers with particularly many rare players usually come. To afford these sets, players are put up for sale on the transfer market.
People sell their cards, the supply on the market increases, causing player prices to drop. The “bigger” the event, the more the prices fall.
If the start of the event is known in advance, prices slowly decrease in the days leading up to it. If EA Sports surprises with an event, prices drop sharply on that day. A drastic market crash can be observed.
This is how the market develops towards Black Friday
Next Friday, on November 25th, is Black Friday. Many FUT fans are aware of this, which is why they are preparing for this event now. In previous years, EA Sports had exciting offers on this day – and every year it could be observed: Prices clearly drop.
However, not directly on Black Friday, but already in the days before. So now! The past has shown that the lowest price point is reached on the Thursday before Black Friday. From then on, they gradually rise again. This development can also be observed with special cards, such as the IF cards.
In short: Thursday, November 24th, should be a good day to look for bargains on the transfer market. For several days now, it has been noticeable that players are becoming cheaper. This prediction, however, does not come with a guarantee; the market is currently developing like in previous years.
By the way: In FIFA 16, there was something new every hour on Black Friday all day. There were gifts, blitz rounds, increased chances, and a new tournament.
Currently, the Hazard Challenge in FUT 17 is running. You can read here how it can be solved.
