In FIFA 17, the player ratings of the top 20 players in the German Bundesliga are known.
EA Sports has released numerous player ratings in recent days. Among them are now the top 20 from the Bundesliga. Which players from the German league have the best attributes?
In a short video, the developers asked the Bundesliga players exactly this question. While Götze and Ribery aimed a bit too high, Alex Meier from Eintracht Frankfurt seems to have assessed himself just right. See for yourself:
The Top 20 of the Bundesliga
Below you see the “FUT 17” cards of the Bundesliga stars. From these, you can extract the individual attributes and further information. A total of three players from the first German league managed to break the 90 overall rating.
Rank 20: Yann Sommer
The goalkeeper had a rating of 82 in FIFA 16. Now he improves to 84.
Rank 19: Mario Götze
Mario Götze remains at a total of 84. However, many of his attributes have dropped by 1-3 points.
Rank 18: Sokratis
From 83 to 84. Thanks to this high speed, Sokratis is expected to feature in many Bundesliga teams.
Rank 17: Douglas Costa
The winger started with 81 in FIFA 16, was later increased to 83. In FIFA 17 he is at 84.
Rank 16: Thiago
Thiago also jumps from 83 to 84.
Rank 15: Javi Martinez
Martinez remains at an overall rating of 84.
Rank 14: Xabi Alonso
There is also no change in Alonso’s overall rating. He remains at 84.
Rank 13: Bernd Leno
Bernd Leno becomes the second-best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga. He improves from 84 to 86.
Rank 12: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Müller is taking a step forward. From 86 to 87.
Rank 8: Arturo Vidal
The man for the important games goes from 86 to 87.
Rank 7: Mats Hummels
The fresh Bayern defender improves from 86 to 87.
Rank 6: Arjen Robben
Robben is declining steeply. Last year he had a rating of 90, now three points less.
Rank 5: Marco Reus
In contrast, Reus is on the rise. He climbs from 86 to 88.
Rank 4: Phillip Lahm
The veteran improves once more in FIFA 17: from 87 to 88.
Rank 3: Robert Lewandowski
He scores and scores and scores. Therefore, Lewa jumps from 88 to 90. Strong!
Rank 2: Jerome Boateng
Boateng is likely to be hardly affordable anymore. He improves by a solid three points and now holds the 90 as an overall rating.
Rank 1: Manuel Neuer
He belongs in every Bundesliga team – if one can afford him. Manuel Neuer is the best player in the Bundesliga. He can improve from 90 to 92.
