The winter upgrades in FIFA 16: FUT are coming to an end. These players will receive their last upgrades this winter on February 26th. Included are: Neymar from FC Barcelona, Douglas Costa, and many other Bundesliga stars!
This year, EA Sports has released the winter upgrades in FIFA 16 in increments. Every Friday in February, a basket full of fresh, upgraded players has been released. Today is the last Friday of the second month of the year 2016, so today the last player upgrades are coming. The next chance to modify player attributes will be in FIFA 17.
For the player upgrades, EA is basing their decisions on the performances of real ball dribblers over the past months. This aims to keep the football simulation up to date and honor the performances of some footballers. This time, Bundesliga star Douglas Costa is among the best upgrades.
The winger from Bayern Munich has received a higher pace rating and a +2 in shooting stats. Overall, he has improved from 81 to 83!
Neymar from FC Barcelona has also received outstanding stats. He gets a +3 in shooting and passing from EA. This makes the global star an even more dangerous weapon.

New upgrades have already taken place in the last three weeks:
- In the first part of the winter upgrades, Bundesliga stars Aubameyang and Xhaka were among those who received an update.
- In the second week, Lewandowski, Gündogan, and Mkhitaryan each received a strong, upgraded card.
- Seven days ago, Mesut Özil and Mario Gomez were also prominent faces of the German national team in the third basket of winter upgrades.
