The new patch 4.3 “Under the Moonlight” will continue the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood on May 22. Here are all the currently known important details about the patch and its content.
The German trailer for “Under the Moonlight” shows a small “sneak preview” of the upcoming content and especially the story of Stormblood, which dramatically concludes the storyline in Doma.

The content of 4.3 will be divided into several smaller patches:
- 4.31: Super epic battle against the Ultima Weapon
- 4.35: Heaven’s Pillar and Hildibrand quests
- 4.36: Eureka area “Pagos”

Balance Changes
Dark Knight:
- No major upheaval of the job for now
- Basic buff for the attack values of abilities
- The effectiveness of the strike jump is increased and the duration of the animation is shortened
Astrologian:
- The spell preparation speed for damage spells is increased.
- The MP reduction of the ability Speed of Light is doubled.
- The damage debuff from Speed of Light is removed.
- Aspect Healer receives a buff.
Samurai:
- Increase the attack values of 5 different abilities
- The generation of enmity is reduced
Other jobs receiving balance changes include Monk, Black Mage, Scholar, and Ninja.
Also included in the patch:
- Quests of the Beast Tribe of the Namazu for gatherers and craftsmen
- Wishlist deliveries to Kurenai, the princess of Sui-no-Sato
- Quests for the reconstruction of Doma
- New furniture designed by the winners of the design competition
- Option for color adjustment for colorblind players
- Bard compositions receive new instruments
