What happened? Data miners searched through the new patch of Fortnite for any innovations. They not only found some skins but also four events that are supposed to take place in February.

These events were found by data miners
What is known: Only the names of the events and some cosmetic skins were found in the patch. However, not much more is known about the 4 special events. The names of the events already partially indicate what they might be about and when the events might take place.
Football Event
This is known so far about the event: The football event will likely take place soon. It revolves around the NFL Super Bowl, which will be held this weekend.
Epic Games has already announced that the football skins will return for this occasion. In this event, players will compete in a 20 versus 20 match while wearing the outfits of the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots, the two Super Bowl participants.
Marshmello Event – already this Saturday?
This is known so far about the event: This event will likely take place in cooperation with the American DJ Marshmello. However, there is no exact date yet.
In line with this, there has already been a change on the map. Two trucks are now on the football field of Pleasant Park, and they seem to be loaded with a stage.
This stage could soon be set up and present a concert by Marshmello. Additionally, data miners found a pickaxe and a spray from the DJ.
There are other leaks suggesting that the Marshmello event might actually take place this Saturday evening at 8:00 PM our time.
New Year’s Event
This is known so far about the event: Our New Year passed over a month ago, but in China, the new year is only celebrated in February. It seems that Fortnite is planning to host an event in line with this.
Data miners also found a wrap for weapons and vehicles in line with this. It is titled as a dragon wrap in the patch and is likely related to the Chinese New Year.
Earthquake Event
This is known so far about the event: So far, the least is known about this event. No relevant event in the coming month matches with earthquakes.
It may be assumed that a significant earthquake will affect the Fortnite map. However, this is only speculation, and we will likely have to wait until Epic reveals more about this event.
