The Battle Royale genre continues to grow. Next year, Fear the Wolves will make its debut in the gaming world. You can find the first information about this action game from the developer studio Vostok Games and the publisher Focus Home Interactive here!
Fear the Wolves is a post-apocalyptic, competitive first-person multiplayer shooter that lets you fight for survival in the irradiated Chernobyl, both alone and in teams. But it’s not just the up to 99 other players you have to contend with; the environment itself is also a threat. The goal is to survive the longest and be the last one standing!

Classic Battle Royale – with a Twist
Traditionally, at the beginning of Fear the Wolves, players are placed randomly on the map and can collect equipment from there and hunt down other players as the map continues to shrink around a central point. But that’s not the only dangerous component.
Additionally, there’s the irradiated and hazardous environment that has spawned mutated creatures and anomalies. The changing weather and the day-night cycle are also designed to make your life a living hell. The soundscape is filled with terrifying noises.
Furthermore, there is to be another secret new mode that is said to give the game its own nasty twist. More details are expected to be presented by Vostok Games later.
Release and Outlook
An exact date is not yet known, but 2018 has been mentioned. So far, there is no information apart from the brief press release, and a trailer is still awaited. More precise information about the game’s content is expected in the coming days.
A release is planned for PC and consoles, usually referring to PS4 and Xbox One.
