The Fashion Week in Pokémon GO has started! It brings a total of 4 new Shinies and new quests. We give you an overview.
What kind of event is this? The event around the Fashion Week in Pokémon GO started on October 2nd at 5:00 PM. It runs until October 8th at 7:00 AM German time.
During this time, shiny hunters can go wild. There are a total of 5 new Shinies to catch and exciting quests.
The highlights of the Fashion Event in Pokémon GO
These are the new Shinies: Shiny Zirpurze was already announced. The Pokémon is now appearing for the first time in its shiny form. You can find it more frequently in the wild currently.
Additionally, there are 3 new Shinies in costumes. You could catch them in their normal form as Shiny before, but now also as costumed Pokémon:
- Glibunkel with an upside-down cap
- Sheinux with a top hat
- Kussilla with a bow
Kirlia does not seem to have a shiny with a top hat. At least there have been no reports from players about that so far.
You should definitely go on a shiny hunt. The costumed Pokémon will be especially rare after the event ends, as they could only be caught during this week. As Shinies, they will be even rarer.
If you are not particularly into costumed Pokémon, you can still trade the Shinies. They are likely to be very popular among shiny collectors.
These are the quests available: There are a total of 4 field researches that you can complete only this week. They include:
- Spin 3 PokéStops or Gyms
- Reward: Encounter with a Kussilla with a bow (can be shiny)
- Hatch an egg
- Reward: Encounter with a Kussilla with a bow (can be shiny)
- Take 3 snapshots
- Reward: a silver Pinap Berry
- Battle in a raid
- Reward: 8 Poké Balls
Especially the tasks with Kussilla are worthwhile. The quest with the PokéStops and Gyms is particularly quick to complete and should always be taken.
But the task around the silver Pinap Berry is also worthwhile. It is one of the rarest items in the game and is worth it.
These are the spawns: In the wild, you can catch a lot of different Pokémon. Particularly worthwhile among them are Burmy, Zirpurze and Glibunkel with a cap. They can all be shiny. Burmy is quite rare outside of events, and the other two specimens are new as shinies in the game. So, the hunt is worth it.
Otherwise, there is still a lot going on in October. Niantic has already announced the next celebrations this month with the Autumn Event.
