This is how the World Tiers work: There are a total of 15 different tiers. These tiers affect the overall difficulty of the game. The higher you rise, the greater the challenge.
At the same time, there are also some advantages waiting for you. The likelihood of better loot increases with each tier. Additionally, there is a reward for each unlocked rank. At World Tier 12, there is even one of three legendary weapons that you can definitely obtain.

In this guide, we present you with a few methods on how to farm and level up World Tiers while progressing toward the endgame.
How to level World Tiers and where you can do it
How to level your World Tier? The principle is simple: Kill enemies. This not only increases your character level but also the World Tiers.
- Below your normal EXP display, you will find a second level bar showing your progress in the World Tiers.
- However, you can also lose EXP for your World Tier if you bite the dust.
- This automatically balances the difficulty for you.
- If you’re making good progress, you will gradually go up one tier at a time.
- If you die too often, you will stay at the respective tier until you improve or find better equipment.
If you want to increase your World Tier, you should find places in the game where you can eliminate as many easy enemies as possible without putting yourself in too much danger. MeinMMO presents you with some locations where this works particularly well.
Keep in mind that these are just examples. Outriders offers numerous options for farming loot and World Tiers. Here, it also depends on your preferences and own approach.
In this guide, we have chosen a particularly simple and early available method, but also one that is unlocked later in the game during the campaign and may be a bit more difficult.
Chapter 2 – Main Mission: “Reach the Other Riverbank”
Select the story point “Reach the Other Riverbank” in Chapter 2, which takes you to the First City. During this section, you will encounter numerous enemies that are easy to kill.
You will not encounter strong elite or boss enemies that make things difficult. So carve your way through the hordes until you get to the end and then start all over again.
Forest Enclave – Side Mission: “Hunted and Hunter”
You will find the side mission in the forest, not far from an intermediary camp called “Crystal Camp”. Like all the other missions, this one can also be repeated if you have already completed it.
Compared to the previous method, the difficulty level here is higher. You will face several waves of enemies, including a boss fight.
This method is not only lucrative for leveling the World Tier, but you should also find some useful loot.
Hunting Missions
Hunting missions are generally among the best sources of loot before the endgame. This also applies to experience points.
Some are quite easy to complete, and the rewards come in the form of epic items. There’s even a trick to speed up farming.
If you play a hunting mission and kill the beast at the end, you should not complete the mission normally. Instead, return to the point where you accepted the mission and cancel it. Now you simply restart it, and the game starts all over again.
Which hunting mission is the best? During the storyline, you will come to the quarry. There, at the camp “Gate to the Outpost”, you will find the hunting mission “Bigjaw”. Here, you have virtually no travel times.
It gets even easier. After you’ve killed everything, return to the lobby. This has the same effect, but there’s a catch: To level up in World Tier, you need to leave the fight. However, if you return to the lobby, that doesn’t happen. Thus, you cannot level up; your EXP bar simply remains filled.
The best way is therefore a combination of both. As long as you still need experience points, return to the lobby after killing the beast. Once your EXP bar is full, complete the mission as described above.
