In the latest installment of the Far Cry series, Far Cry: New Dawn, you will be sent on expeditions. A new video now shows how they unfold.
What is it about? On February 15, Far Cry: New Dawn, the direct sequel to Far Cry 5, will be released. New Dawn follows directly from one of the endings of the fifth installment of the Far Cry series and brings you back to Hope County. However, things have changed, as not only have atomic bombs fallen in the game, but also 17 years have passed since Far Cry 5. Moreover, there will be villains you will hate.
In the post-apocalyptic world, resources are scarce. One way for you to acquire rare items in New Dawn is through the new expeditions. A new video shows an expedition and explains how the feature works.

What are expeditions? To upgrade your gear or your camp, Prosperity, you need resources. However, these are very scarce in the post-apocalyptic world of Far Cry: New Dawn.
The pilot Roger Cadoret, who also lives in Prosperity, is happy to take you on expeditions in his helicopter. These activities take place on various maps that are outside the normal map of Hope County, Montana. So you will find yourself in places like Arizona or on an aircraft carrier off the coast of Florida.
Expeditions have three difficulty levels that can be repeated infinitely. Higher difficulty levels also promise better loot.
What can be seen in the video? The video shows an expedition on the aircraft carrier. The goal is to retrieve a box from the carrier. How you proceed is up to the player: Either you fight your way through Rambo-style or you sneak past the guards and simply steal the box.
With your loot, you make your way to an extraction point and must fend off enemies until you are picked up. After that, you still need to escape without your helicopter being destroyed.
By the way: In the helicopter, you have to sit in the back. The front seat is reserved for your new dog friend, Timber.
