At the last Game Awards, Ubisoft announced Far Cry: New Dawn. The direct sequel to Far Cry 5 will be released on February 15.
In February, it will be back to Hope County: Ubisoft unveiled the official trailer for Far Cry: New Dawn last night. The game is the direct sequel to Far Cry 5 and brings players back to the fictional Hope County, Montana.
Far Cry: New Dawn will be released on February 15, 2019, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is set to be available for $39.99.
Hope County after the Apocalypse
Here’s what it’s about: Seventeen years have passed since the atomic bombs fell. The people of Hope County are making the best of their situation. However, a new group, led by twins Mickey and Lou, is roaming the land and taking resources for themselves.
Players apparently have to stand against this group and defend their home base. Returning are Guns and Fangs for Hire, human and animal companions that assist the protagonist in his endeavors.

This is what the trailer shows: Far Cry: New Dawn does not present a joyless wasteland, but rather fertile meadows and colorful environments. Still, it seems to have a bit of a Mad Max vibe: One scene features an explosive car race that seems to come straight from the Thunderdome.
A big wish seems to have been fulfilled for players, as animal companions can ride in the car in Far Cry: New Dawn! A major criticism of Far Cry 5 was that while human companions would jump into vehicles, animal companions always had to chase behind cars, boats, and helicopters.
And also “Father,” Joseph Seed, seems to be back in New Dawn. At the end of the video, Seed philosophizes about how he led humanity into the New World. He thought it would be glorious. However, he was on the wrong path.
