Main characters in the latest “Far Cry” games have been predefined. In Far Cry 5, you now have the opportunity to create your own character.
Being forced to play with a predefined character limits players’ freedom. In the new Far Cry 5, you therefore have the option to customize your character in-game. How detailed the adjustments will be is still uncertain. At least you can customize the skin color and gender.
Customize Character in Far Cry 5
In Far Cry 5, you no longer have to play as a fixed protagonist but have more options for customization. As reported by Kotaku, you can choose between male and female and also select a skin color.
Whether there will be further options and how detailed they will be is still uncertain. In first-person perspective, however, you probably won’t have many opportunities to admire the character’s appearance. Unless you play in coop mode.
Far Cry 5 will be released in February 2018 and allows you to play the entire campaign together with another player in coop mode. This way, the visual details of the characters will become more noticeable.
