Far Cry 5 also has some crazy stories off the main questline about the liberation of Hope County from the clutches of the Eden’s Gate sect. In a particularly bizarre side quest, the player is tasked with hosting an “Egg Festival” to boost the morale of the population.
The Far Cry series has always had a unique sense of humor. The fifth installment is no exception and presents players with the challenge of organizing a special festival.
This traditional festival is meant to uplift the occupied Hope County residents and boost morale. And all thanks to the power of bull testicles.
Welcome to Testy Festy
The quest “Egg Festival” starts off rather innocently and can even be easily overlooked. The task is assigned to you by Casey Fixman, the cook at the “Spread Eagle” in the settlement of Fall’s End. The settlement is located in the middle of Holland Valley, the region of John Seed.

You can find Casey in the kitchen behind the bar. First, you need to retrieve the float for the Testicle Festival. It’s located in the barn of Casey’s buddy Kenny.
Unfortunately, Kenny is quite the idiot and let the key to the barn get stolen by buzzards. If you can take the key from the birds with some well-targeted shots, you can leisurely head back to Fall’s End with the float.
From there, things only get weirder.
Bull Testicles for Hope County
In the subsequent quest “Prairie Oyster Harvest”, it’s getting serious. Now you need to procure three bull testicles for Casey, each harvested using a different method.
The first testicles should come from a bull that’s currently mating. So destroy the fence that keeps the bulls away from their cows. To the smooth sounds of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing”, the bulls get straight to work or rather to pleasure, and you can grab their jewels.
The second bull testicles should be collected by running over a bull with a tractor, while the last testicles should come from an animal that perished in a fire.
Once you’ve completed these tasks, it’s off to the Testicle Festival, where you’ll first enjoy drinks, then aim at balloons with a slingshot. No worries – whether and how many balloons you hit has no impact on the mission.
If you survive the festival, you can slip into this fancy shirt for the festival.

By the way: As funny as the mission to the Testicle Festival may be, Ubisoft did not come up with this tradition. In certain parts of the USA, including Montana, festivals are regularly held that primarily focus on the consumption of testicles.
Let’s just hope that the specialties in real life are not prepared and especially procured in the way they are in Far Cry 5.
