Ubisoft’s next big open-world game Far Cry 5 will be released on March 27 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. But how much time should you actually plan for the campaign if you’re not distracted by other activities like fishing or hunting?
Next week, the new open-world game from Ubisoft, Far Cry 5, will be released. The American website GameSpot has asked how much time the game’s campaign alone would take, which can be approached both offline and in cooperative mode.
About 25 hours campaign – without potential distractions
As the executive producer of Far Cry 5, Dan Hay, mentioned, “good” players should need about 25 hours for the game’s story mode. But this is only the beginning. Not only should Far Cry 5 offer many side activities, every player could choose their own path and approach tasks as they see fit.
“We have seen people exploring the world and spending four or five hours just fishing or hunting, or simply doing things we weren’t really prepared for,” said Hay. “It really depends on how you play.”
In addition to the campaign, there will be a map editor that allows you to create maps or your own game modes.
GameSpot wanted to know if players would be able to create battle royale modes in Far Cry 5 with the editor, similar to PUBG or Fortnite. Dan Hay found this idea “super cool” and stated that the tools will continually be expanded. So let’s see if the battle royale hype will also sweep over to Far Cry 5.
