From April 3 to April 10, the first live event in Far Cry 5 is running. In these weekly events, players can complete challenges and unlock special items for their game.
In the first week, the challenge is “Good through,” for which 20 animals must be killed with fire without using the obvious tools Molotov or flamethrower. Participants in the event should solve the task as creatively as possible.

Surely there are many very creative ways to kill the 20 required animals with fire. However, we have chosen the simplest version: incendiary ammunition.
Better avoid the incendiary rockets and stick with the good old incendiary shotgun shells and incendiary arrows. If you have the perk “Black Market,” you can easily get the ammunition in any weapon shop.
Cattle are particularly suitable for this task as they can be found on almost every farm in Far Cry 5. Therefore, we focused on the region around Fall’s End in Holland Valley, as there are particularly many farms and the weapon shop is very close.
Small animals should be dealt with using arrows, while cows, bulls, and turkeys can withstand a shot from the shotgun. The animals must die from the fire and not from the bullets. Therefore, it’s better to avoid headshots.
Once you have completed the challenge, you will receive the flamethrower “Torchbearer,” which differs from the normal flamethrower and the weapon “Flames over Flames” only in its golden paint.
Nice side effect: If you and the community each reach half of the required animal sacrifices, you’ll get 50 silver bars each, which is the premium currency in Far Cry 5. So, 100 units of the rare currency are already yours.
Since the community was diligent last night and has already exceeded the required goal of 150,000 animals killed, you can also receive the “Torchbearer” outfit in the shops.
