Chrono Odyssey is one of the most anticipated MMORPGs, but unfortunately, there hasn’t been much to see yet. Just recently, however, a new gameplay presentation of the game was released, and as far as fan opinions go, the consensus could not be clearer.
What kind of video is this? It is the recently released video from IGN (via youtube.com), in which 17 minutes of official gameplay footage of Chrono Odyssey is demonstrated. The video primarily focused on the game’s content, the PvP mode, the skills, and the action-packed battles.
The game is set to offer 6 classes and a seamless world without loading screens, extensive options to customize your character, and much more. And all of this in the demanding Unreal Engine 5.
For many fans, this is also a cause for concern, as there are very few alternatives in the genre, other than WoW, that are actually successful and alive. Many MMORPGs die after just a few weeks and months, and fans are finally looking for alternatives with fresh and lasting content.
Looking at the new video and the comments on YouTube, it becomes clear: Fans might finally have found their alternative.
Players finally hope for an MMORPG that lives
What do fans say about the gameplay they saw? They are excited and rave about the material they saw. For many, it is clear that Chrono Odyssey could be the MMORPG fans have been waiting for years. The following voices show how eager the fans are for the new game:

Are there also negative voices? User @Zunasenpai expressed criticism about the development of the game. According to him, there was already a preview of Chrono Odyssey two years ago, and the game looked much cleaner in terms of gameplay and optimizations. Additionally, the hint of Souls in terms of battles has diminished – it looks much more like an MMO now. For him, the game looked better two years ago.
