As part of an elaborate community project, fans have recreated the famous city of Erebor from the world of The Lord of the Rings in Enshrouded. They did this without using any mods or cheats, only utilizing what the game offered them.
How did the fans build the city? In a community project by the German YouTuber Kontreck, around 33 people came together to recreate the legendary dwarf city Erebor in the survival game Enshrouded. They independently mined around 220,000,000 blocks – therefore not using any mods or cheats.
Over 15,000,000 blocks are taken up by the city itself. For the project, they took a total of 74 days and around 10,000 hours. In a video just over 4 minutes long, the YouTuber now shows the final product of the project.

Erebor was not the first project of the fans: A few months ago, Kontreck and his community recreated another famous city from the world of The Lord of the Rings, Minas Tirith (via YouTube). For this, they first created a 3D model of the template, which was later used as a reference.
For the implementation, the team divided into various roles: collectors, architects, builders, and decorators. The architects calculated exactly how many blocks would be needed for the city and where they ultimately needed to go.
How is the project received by the community? In the comments, the project receives consistently enthusiastic feedback and even the developers of Enshrouded are left speechless:
