Fans of Arcane must be strong – Because the series ends with season 2

For Arcane, it’s almost over. After Season 2, the story will end – but there is hope.

Many have been on edge since the end of the first season of Arcane – because the story stopped at quite a high point. What was an outrageous cliffhanger for some was seen by others as a brilliant conclusion to the first season.

Now it won’t be long until the second season of Arcane is shown on Netflix, and the story surrounding Vi, Jinx, and the fate of Piltover and Zaun moves into the next round.

However, this is not just the next round – but also the last. Because Arcane ends with Season 2.

What was said? In a “Dev Update” video on YouTube, the developers talked about the future of League of Legends, and a few words were also mentioned about the successful series Arcane, as the release of the second season is just a few months away.

The sad news for some: Arcane ends with the last episode of Season 2. After that, there will be no further episodes of Arcane, and the series will be considered finished.

Why does Arcane end? The reason for the end of Arcane after Season 2 does not seem to be that the series wasn’t well received. Instead, the creators had a very specific ending planned, which will indeed be reached with the last episode of Season 2. They do not want to stretch the story any further after that.

Will there be more series? Yes, there will be more stories from the League of Legends universe. The team is supposedly working on “new projects for film and television.” However, these projects are still in the early stages of development, and they hope to share a bit more about them by the end of the year – maybe the first trailer will be available when the last episode of Arcane has aired.

At least that means, in turn, that with the end of Arcane we can expect a pretty spectacular finale, where the conflict between Piltover and Zaun reaches its peak, and also the rivalries between Vi and Jinx get resolved once and for all. A first teaser for Season 2 caused quite a stir a few days ago.
