In October, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is set to be released on the PS5. A new trailer now highlights several characters.
Which game is being discussed here? Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will be the newest installment in the popular Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi series and is set to release on October 11, 2024, among other platforms including the PS5. Since 2005, the Tenkaichi series has captivated several generations of players and anime fans worldwide.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO promises to offer a plethora of playable characters, as Bandai Namco assures, returning to the roots of the Tenkaichi games. A total of 164 character slots are indicated. A new trailer now introduces some of the playable characters.
Which characters are included? The trailer showcases several characters that will be playable in Sparking! ZERO. You can also get a first look at their fighting styles. It becomes clear that some characters fight with swords rather than just their fists.
Among others, you can play as Trunks, the son of Vegeta, from the future. He is known for using a sword to battle his opponents since his early appearances in the manga and anime. Naturally, he utilizes this in the game as well.
Other swordsmen featured in the trailer are Yajirobe and Dabura. However, you can also expect many “classic” fist fighters, with the trailer showing that there is much more in store than just various Gokus and Vegetas.
Among the playable characters, you will find Mr. Satan, Goku Black, Roasie and Ribrianne, Spopovich, and Anilaza.
What are the reactions? The reactions in the comments (via YouTube) clearly indicate that many fans and players are looking forward to the new installment of the Tenkaichi games.
