The members of the German group Skyblock Squad have taken over 400 hours and completely recreated Mondstadt from Genshin Impact in Minecraft. The details are remarkable. We at MeinMMO summarize.
What have the fans built? The goal of the gigantic project was to recreate the city of Mondstadt from the game Genshin Impact in a 1:1 scale. However, this did not quite work out, as some details cannot be represented as well in Minecraft as in the original.
Therefore, the recreated city is even a bit larger than the original. To be precise, it has a scale factor of 1:1.15. The details of the city are correspondingly well developed. Mondstadt looks exactly as its counterpart in Genshin.
Who built it? The project is the responsibility of the builders from the German group Skyblock Squad, who have already completed other large projects in Minecraft. Among other things, they recreated the Abyss Theme from Genshin Impact in Minecraft note blocks.
Mondstadt, according to the group, took about 400 hours to look as it does in the linked video. The Squad has been working on the city from Genshin Impact since August, about 80 hours a month.
