Starfield fans have been waiting a long time for Bethesda’s new title. However, they have not been idle from the first announcement in 2018 to the present and have sweetened the waiting time by building their very own gaming setups inspired by Starfield-themed sci-fi designs.
This includes gaming PCs and matching peripheral devices. We also show you ideas from the Reddit community that go beyond normal PC gaming.
Rainbow colors in gaming setup
What color accents does Bethesda use for their game? The design of Starfield unmistakably resembles the color spectrum of rainbows. The logo and pattern for the game are in blue, yellow, orange, and red on a white background. Inspired by this, fans of the game showcase their color-coordinated gaming environments and share them with the Reddit community.
How are the fans preparing? While some gamers simply change their desktop backgrounds to various Starfield-themed motifs, others on Reddit are creatively going beyond that. Some set up “space decor” like a spaceship made of Lego on their desks or in the shelves above.
What do Starfield fans color? In the posts, you can frequently see white peripheral devices. Keyboards are particularly popular, with some letters replaced by colorful counterparts, forming a rainbow stripe due to their arrangement. The picture is often completed by a mousepad or a desk mat printed with a gaming logo. Occasionally, you can also spot a Starfield-themed Xbox controller, which Microsoft exclusively released for the launch.
However, the real highlight is the showcased gaming PCs with glass side panels and their bright RGB lighting.
Thanks to the built-in LEDs, which can glow in all conceivable colors, graphics cards, fans, and even cables are accordingly colored. Thus, the gaming PCs showcase the entire color palette of Bethesda’s title.
This way, while waiting and soon playing the space RPG, a definitely atmospheric vibe is created, and it might even immerse some deeper into the story of Starfield.
Starfield color accents beyond PC gaming setups
What other ideas do the players come up with? Cross-platform gaming is now a given. Therefore, it is not surprising that some fans are also targeting other technical devices and color-coordinating them with Starfield.

Even more elaborate and beautiful to look at, but all the more tragic is the Reddit post about a PlayStation 5, including a controller in the Starfield look.
Why is there no Starfield on PS5? Since Bethesda now belongs to Microsoft, the company has blocked a release on Sony’s console. Currently, only PC and Xbox players get to enjoy playing Starfield.
Microsoft raises the bar even higher
In cooperation with the mattress manufacturer Tempur, the Xbox developer showcased a Starfield gaming chair at this year’s Gamescom. With this, Microsoft far surpasses the projects of fans.
The “Dream Chair,” as the piece of furniture is called, is designed like a spaceship cockpit. A huge screen, a joystick on each armrest, and countless buttons and switches leave nothing to be desired.
Is the chair available for purchase? The chair is not for sale and is intended to find a new owner for charitable purposes at the end of the year.
