How important is Fritz Meinecke to 7 vs. Wild? 7 vs. Wild started as a YouTube project by Fritz Meinecke, along with 6 other colleagues and co-founders Max Kovacs and Johannes Hovekamp (via Hitscan.de), who served as the organizing team to ensure the contestants’ safety and took over the entire planning of the project.
The project originally ran on Fritz Meinecke’s own channel, and he has since developed into the face of the show. With the second season, the survival series rapidly grew. Well-known faces like influencer Knossi and fitness YouTuber Sascha Huber attracted many viewers with their appearances.
However, there have long been rumors that Meinecke has lost interest in his own format. Instead, he has discovered his passion for cycling. Many see this as a reason why he no longer wants to participate.

What suspicions do the viewers have? On Reddit, many fans are skeptical about whether Fritz Meinecke will still be part of season 5. To the viewers, it seemed recently that the series founder is no longer interested in the show and is increasingly dissatisfied with the developments.
For his new hobby, cycling, Meinecke has already planned the first half of 2025 with tours and travels. The following tours for the coming months can be found in the description on his Instagram profile:

How has the series changed? Since season 1, the series has developed significantly. Instead of being dropped off by boat, the contestants now have to jump out of helicopters or are taken blindfolded to the drop-off point.
The series reached a level that the original team could no longer manage alone. The founders sold the series to Calivision Network, which was supposed to produce the new seasons in collaboration with Amazon. This did not work well from the start, and there were repeated disputes between the organization and Fritz Meinecke.
