In Diablo 4 there are numerous tasks to complete. A player has achieved 100% of the challenges in the ARPG – including the expansion “Vessel of Hatred.” As a reward, there was… absolutely nothing.
What are these achievements? To unlock all achievements in Diablo 4, one must fight through a variety of tasks. Among these are:
- defeating a number of specific enemy types,
- collecting legendary aspects in the regions of Sanctuary,
- leveling up all classes and mastering various challenges with them,
- farming special materials,
- completing PvP fights against other players,
- and playing in hardcore mode.
A player has taken on this colossal task, first completing the main game and then also finishing all challenges of the “Vessel of Hatred” expansion. On Reddit, he shares what he received as a reward for this – or rather, what he did not receive.
“Achievements that take ridiculous amounts of time are the worst”
What does the player say about the reward? In his post on Reddit, VeryGooDiS reports that he has achieved 100% of the achievements in Diablo 4 and the DLC. There was no reward for this. This is unpleasant, as even for Paragon level 300 or top 100 in solo and group leaderboards, there were at least cosmetics for the mount, he explains. However, there is nothing here.
The community congratulates him on this achievement. Some ask which tasks drove him the most crazy. His answer:
- Hardcore achievements, as he absolutely dislikes hardcore. Especially completing 300 Paragon levels in hardcore and 50 legion events in Nahantu were hard and extremely annoying. Both require an insane amount of time.
- Collecting 100,000 coins in the citadel, as this is a task that demands an extremely high time investment and requires at least one other person who ideally knows what to do and has the right gear.
- Killing 666 blood maidens in the hell flood in Nahantu, as you need materials to summon them. Moreover, the hell flood does not spawn every hour in Nahantu. According to VeryGooDiS, it happens every 4-6 hours.
His conclusion: The worst achievements are those that simply “consume ridiculous amounts of time.” Even if you try to combine everything, it takes forever, he writes in the comment.
In the comments, others ask if the achievement of defeating 6,666,666,666 treasure goblins was included. However, he notes that this is a heroic deed – and the heroic deed tasks do not count towards the 100 percent rating, VeryGooDiS mentions.
He is indeed not the only one who has played Diablo 4 to 100%. Another player has also completed all challenges. And even now, having achieved this, he does not stop – because for him, the grind is not over. Even after over 4,000 hours, he still enjoys Diablo 4 and says: It’s not as bad as everyone says.
