Fallout: London is set to be a large mod that massively expands the game of Fallout 4. However, you will not start in America, but in British London. This city too has been caught in the nuclear inferno. What you should know about the release and the download is summarized here.
What is Fallout: London? Fallout: London is a major mod from “Team FOLON”. This brings you to Great Britain with a new character, where you must survive in a British way. It is clear: Not only America was devastated by atomic bombs. London has also taken a hit, and now you must navigate through the rubble of the great city and try not to perish.
Fallout: London – Release and Start
When is the release date? The release should now be scheduled for July 25, 2024, following several delays. You can find more details about the release in our overview.
Does the mod have a price? No. The mod is completely free. However, you need the base game of Fallout 4 with all expansions to download and play the mod.
Which platforms will receive the mod? Only PC players will benefit from the mod. Consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One are currently left out.
How to download Fallout: London
How does the download work? Before you can download the mod, you must own Fallout 4 with all expansions on Steam or gog.com. Once this requirement is met, you can download the mod from gog.com at times. Here is the link to the mod on gog.com.
Anyone who wants to download the mod must downgrade their game. Due to the new next-gen update, many mods became incompatible with Fallout 4, including Fallout: London. To be able to use the mod, there is a downgrader on nexusmods.com that helps you downgrade your game.
Fallout: London gets darker
What can I expect in Fallout: London? Parallels to the original can be seen in Fallout: London. You are once again a test subject of a mysterious company, but you can escape. There is no Pip-Boy, but a small rustic tablet with which you can manage your stats and items.
However, the trailers from Team FOLON make it clear that you are not wandering in an idyllic black forest. London has also been hit hard, and in addition to new enemies and items, you will encounter even darker places than those known from Fallout 4.
Fallout: London is handcrafted and thus you will hardly recognize things from the original. The mysterious organization, for example, has its own logo, and many elements, such as the symbols of the “Underground”, have been appropriately implemented for the location.
From the trailer, the mod appears to be an independent title that invites you with new quests to explore the story behind the British nuclear inferno. However, please note that Fallout: London is entirely in English.
