Fallout: London is one of the most anticipated modifications. Now the developers have announced that the release will be in just a few hours.
What kind of mod is this? Fallout: London is a DLC-sized mod that takes the player to London. This means completely reconstructing the game, as players refer to it as a “Total Conversion” because nothing from the old game remains. According to the developers, you can look forward to a completely new world, factions, storylines, NPCs, weapons, creatures, and much more. And all of this in the style of the English capital.
The team behind Fallout: London has been working on the mod since 2019 and initially planned to release it on April 23. However, Bethesda’s official next-gen update for Fallout 4 put a wrench in those plans. The update was released two days after the planned Fallout: London release, and the mod developers knew this would cause problems with the mod.
When will Fallout London be released? The team behind the mod told the online magazine Inverse that Fallout: London will definitely be released on July 25. On the YouTube channel of the developers, a countdown is ticking down to the premiere of the launch trailer, which corresponds to 14:00 German time. After that, you can expect to download the mod in the foreseeable future.

Fallout London Download – GOG instead of Nexusmods
Where can you download the modification? The developers have partnered with GOG to manage the large download size.

The well-known mod site Nexusmods declined support due to the large download. The download on GOG is compatible with the Steam version of Fallout 4 without any issues, the developers explained.
What else should I consider? Fallout: London is only compatible with the GOG and Steam versions of Fallout 4. Fallout 4 from the Game Pass is not supported. At least the GOTY edition of Fallout 4 now only costs 20 euros. On GOG, the mod is currently available in a giveaway, so you can add it to your library for free.
