Fallout 76 has had some turbulent weeks with the beta and the release. Many of you are already wandering the wasteland of West Virginia. Now we want to write the test for the online game together with you. For this, we want to hear your opinions.
Since November 14, you can now roam through Appalachia, the massive game world of Fallout 76. For the first time in a Fallout title, you can do this not only alone but also with friends.
Now we want to know: How do you like it so far? What are your first impressions of Fallout 76? We want to write our test together with you. You should share your impressions with us, and we will summarize them as best as possible.
What should the test look like? You can imagine the post to be somewhat like this, just a bit more extensive and visually enhanced with a custom rating box: Red Dead Redemption 2 Test – How you rated it. We were surprised by the strong responses in the user test for RDR 2 and want to expand this concept to Fallout 76.
We will again mention individual users in the post and form the core elements from the comments. In the sections most important to you, authors from Mein-MMO.de will also participate.
Review in Progress: We will launch another call in a few weeks to update the test, as more will be known about the long-term motivation by then. This is initially a test of the impressions from the first week.
Submission deadline is November 22, 2018.
This is what Fallout 76 intends to offer:
- A massive open world in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of West Virginia
- “Soft Survival” elements like hunger and thirst for survival fans
- The ability to wander through a typical Fallout world with other players
- Quests and a story like in a single player, just without human NPCs
- For crafters, there is a crafting system that allows you to build weapons, gear, and your own base
- RPG elements like a skill and perk system and a customizable character
We want your opinion on Fallout 76
For some of you, this is the first Fallout title, while others are already die-hard fans of the franchise. Since Fallout 76 allows you many different play styles, we are eager to learn how you approach the online survival RPG.
Here’s how you can participate: Write us your conclusion – feel free to elaborate! And ideally explain to us in pro and con format in the comments what you like about Fallout 76 and what you don’t like so much. Is your judgment as harsh as some users who bombed Fallout 76 with negative reviews on Metacritic or do you belong to those who would have expected just such a game and therefore love it?
