On April 14, the Wastelanders expansion for Fallout 76 will be released, bringing the highly anticipated NPCs into the game. However, with them come zones where player C.A.M.Ps will have to disappear.
This is what’s happening: On April 14, in just two days, the Wastelanders expansion will be released. With it, the elaborate NPCs will come into the game, in which Bethesda has invested more money than expected. These NPCs come with their own camps and need to be placed somewhere.
Players in Fallout 76 Must Relocate
This is the problem: Via Twitter, Fallout has released a current map showing where the NPCs will settle. The problem is that these areas will become build-restricted zones from April 14 onwards, forcing players to relocate their C.A.M.P.
The build-restricted zones vary in size. However, if your base is located in one of these marked zones, you should relocate before the expansion starts. Bethesda does not explain what happens if you simply stay there. Your C.A.M.P will likely just disappear.

Relocation is Free
On Twitter, user Lagerwhat? responded to the forced relocation, asking if Bethesda would cover the moving costs. All concerned players can be reassured here, as those in a build-restricted zone who need to relocate will be able to do so free of charge.
With Fallout 76 Wastelanders, the NPCs that have been sorely missed since the original release are returning. This could make Fallout 76 more of a singleplayer MMO, as we could find out in an interview with the developers. On April 14, it will finally happen and Appalachia will be filled with life.
