Fallout 76 offers you many cool ways to build your base. One player has built a diabolical yet fun death trap. It is so funny that even the victims have something to laugh about.
What has the player built? In Fallout 76, some players construct elaborate death traps to annoy their unsuspecting teammates. One player has built a fun maze in which a dreadful Deathclaw then hunts down the poor pig that cannot escape.
Another player named Xntryk 1 has now created a trap that may be surpassing in spitefulness and macabre humor:
- The player’s C.A.M.P. has a shop. There, theoretically, you can stock up on equipment.
- But those who try that will fall through a suddenly opening trapdoor many meters down.
- Down there, the poor victims are met with sharp spikes and flamethrowers.
- Those who survive all that will face the “Grand Finale.” For in the end, Xntryk 1 activates a powerful catapult that launches the victims (or their corpses) through the air.
Since the C.A.M.P. is on a mountain, the victims are flung many miles through the air of West Virginia. So when you next stroll through Appalachia and a charred and riddled corpse suddenly lands at your feet, know that they have become a victim of Xntryk 1’s trap.
Funny and sadistic at the same time
How is the cool trap received by the community? Various players have already tried the death trap. The creator himself has recorded a video of it. It has been viewed and commented on thousands of times:
- “This is beautiful! Enough to make a grown man cry.”
- “I once fell into your trap and was angry at you. But after seeing the elaborate design, I have a lot of respect for you. Pure evil genius!”
- “I usually do not support such trap bases, as they exploit a broken game mechanic. But this is impressive engineering. I can’t help but applaud.”
Here is another video where the poor Freddy Fox gets caught:
What do you think of the death trap? Totally mean and sadistic or a masterpiece of creative wickedness?
