In Fallout 76 you can place all sorts of crafting stations in your camp. There is also a station for the popular Power Armors. However, you first need the corresponding blueprint. Here you can find it.
What do I need? If you want your own Power Armor station, you first need to build your own C.A.M.P. You should be able to accomplish this automatically during the course of the story. After that, you must complete a quest that rewards you with the blueprint for the crafting station.
Blueprint for Power Armor Station: Location and Quest
Complete the quest “Power Graves”: If you want to earn the blueprint for the Power Armor Station in Fallout 76, you must fight your way through the “Ash Heap” area in southern Appalachia.
There you will find the Garrahan Mining Corporation headquarters. At the headquarters, you will take on the quest “Power Graves.” However, to complete the quest, you will need to be level 25. You can level up faster in a group.
To complete the quest, you need to build an Excavator Armor and then register it. You will find the blueprints for the armor during the quest. You do not need to meet any further requirements.
Building the Excavator Armor: To build the armor, you first need to find a Power Armor chassis and then create and attach a total of 6 armor parts:
- Excavator Helmet: 12x Glass, 13x Rubber, 10 Screws, 6x Black Titanium, 17x Steel
- Excavator Arms (left and right), each: 10 Screws, 6x Black Titanium, 17x Steel, 10 Gears, 9x Oil
- Excavator Legs (left and right), each: 30x Suspension, 10 Screws, 6x Black Titanium, 17x Steel, 9x Oil
- Excavator Torso: 13x Rubber, 6x Nuclear Material, 10 Screws, 6x Black Titanium, 17x Steel, 10 Gears
You will find the black titanium directly at the Garrahan Mining headquarters and in the surrounding area. Some of the other materials are rare or hard to find. With our material guide, you can find other items like feathers more easily.
You can build the parts at any Power Armor station in West Virginia and simply store them in the chassis. By the way, when you wear the entire armor, you receive an additional +100 carry weight. This is a particularly nice feature, until the stash is expanded.
Registering the Excavator Armor: To equip the armor parts, you need to have reached level 25, which is why the quest cannot be completed earlier. Place the parts in the chassis and insert a fusion core to then “get in”.
Return to the headquarters with the armor and to the bottom level. There you will find a button that you must press while wearing the Excavator Armor. You will be scanned, and the quest will be completed.
You will then receive the blueprint for the Power Armor station and can immediately set it up in your camp.
