Regarding Fallout 76, the next update is on its way. The new patch will bring backpacks and a new faction to the game. Here’s what we know so far.
This update focuses on: The update is called “Ever Upwards” and is part of the upcoming Patch 9.
A new faction, the “Pioneer Scouts”, as well as backpacks that players can also equip with mods, are being introduced.

Larger Inventory with Backpacks
These are the new backpacks: With the new patch, various backpack models will be introduced to the game.
What purpose do they serve? On the one hand, they expand your inventory. On the other hand, you can equip them with mods. These can further increase your inventory size or provide other benefits.
According to the article from Bethesda, there will even be a refrigerator mod that increases the durability of your food. Armor and other stats can also be improved with mods.
However, such mods also take up some of your space in the backpack.
Bethesda has also released 20 designs for the backpacks. Not all of them will make it into the final game.
Your backpacks are visible over your regular outfits. If you wear Power Armor, you still wear the backpack, but it is no longer visible.
The new faction “Pioneer Scouts”
What is known about the new faction: The Pioneer Scouts apparently used to be a scouting group for children in Appalachia before the war.
However, during and after the war, interested children dwindled, so at some point, applicants of all ages were accepted.
How can one join? If one is interested in the Pioneer Scouts, they should take a closer look at the posters at the individual stations in the game world.

Alternatively, you can get a free poster for the camp from the Atomic Shop. The poster is available for free until July 6.
When will the patch be released? Ever Upwards and Patch 9 are set to be released on May 7.
What else is new? For the Survival and Adventure modes, there is double EXP until April 29 at 12 PM.
What do you think of the new features? Let us know in the comments.
