Fallout 76 has new items available in the Atomic Shop again. This time, there are special skins included that were only available for a short time and can now also be purchased for a limited time.
These skins are back: In a blog post, Bethesda announced new offers for the Atomic Shop in Fallout 76. Included are four special skins for the Power Armor, inspired by the four Horsemen of the (biblical) Apocalypse:
- White Rider
- Pale Rider
- Plague Rider
- War Rider
Death – The Pale Rider 
War – The Red Rider 
Famine – The Black Rider 
Plague – The Green Rider
In addition, there are other cosmetics for your C.A.M.P., costumes, and even some free items made available through the “Clean Appalachia” event. The full list of offers can be found on the official website.
How long can the skins be purchased? The offer for the four riders is valid from October 8, 2019, until October 22 at 6:00 PM German time.
The cost per skin is 1400 atoms (approximately 14€).
The cool skins and the other
What is so special about the skins? The four riders were the first time in Fallout 76 that a series of power armor skins was released that thematically fits together and looks really stylish.
The first three riders (Plague/Green, War/Red, and Famine/Black) have stylish ornaments and really look like something: threatening, archaic, and apocalyptic. The riders were also well received in the community. Especially the return of “Famine” seems to please many fans:

This one is disappointing: While the other skins have spikes, embellishments like plague sores, and a generally threatening appearance, the most well-known white rider is just a white-painted T-51b with a few rods and an emblem:
Even though the riders are a cool idea to start a skin collection, the last skin “Death” (white) is at least disappointing for our author Benedict.
For a rider that originally appeared last among the four and was supposed to be a climax, it ultimately turned out to be a disappointment.
