In Fallout 76, the update “Radiant Depths” has launched and with it its first raid. This throws you challenging bosses and strong loot. Especially Raiders from Destiny 2 might find it a challenge.
What kind of update is this? The update “Radiant Depths” brings the first raid to Fallout 76. It lets you break into an Enclave lab to face dangers and eliminate them if possible.
The bosses are tough and much stronger than those from the normal events in Appalachia, so it is important to start off with the best endgame builds and strong allies. We will show you just how difficult the raid really is.
New raid makes your endgame builds look weak
How difficult is the raid? The raid is really difficult, especially for players who are not well prepared. The activity resembles a stripped-down version of those you know from Destiny 1 & 2. You fight against different bosses, have to wander through an area, and try not to die.
To start the “Radiant Depths”, you don’t need a team, but it is recommended due to the difficulty. Furthermore, you need a well-crafted endgame build with God-Rolls and strong armor. Consumables like Stim-Packs or buffs like Psycho are also advantageous to achieve the highest possible damage output.
The raid consists of 5 phases. After each phase, there is a “checkpoint” where you can repair your equipment, refill your inventory, or adjust your build. In each phase, each player only has one life; if you die, you have to wait until your team wipes or completes the instance – pretty much like the raids from Destiny.
What rewards await at the end of the raid? There are no exotics, but there are legendaries such as weapons and armor with up to 4 stars. There should also be blueprints fitting the theme of the raid to craft new items.
You can also farm the raid to complete your collection. You don’t have to wait a day for the loot to reset. Have you already started the raid, and if so, what do you think of it?
