In Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, Xbox One & iOS) there is a new exploit. With the help of a Boogie Bomb, you can pick up unlimited weapons and items. However, the developers are already working on the problem and have temporarily removed the dance bomb from the game.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, you only have a limited inventory. Besides the pickaxe, you can only carry five other items. This limit plays a big part in the tactical gameplay of the game. “Should I take the submachine gun or the shotgun? Pistol or revolver?”
Through a curious exploit, you can currently navigate around this choice dilemma in Fortnite.
Swing your dance legs with the Boogie Bomb and collect unlimited loot
On Reddit, the user Killadelph82 posted a video showing exactly how the exploit works. You need to have a full inventory, drop a weapon, then equip a Boogie Bomb and hit yourself with it.
The Boogie Bomb triggers a silly dance animation. While you’re dancing around, you pick up the dropped weapon again. With this, you’ve somehow broken something in the game, as from now on you can collect and drop weapons and items infinitely like a black hole.
Developers are aware of the exploit
The Fortnite developers at Epic Games have seen the post by Killadelph82 on Reddit and thanked him for reporting the curious exploit. It is therefore likely that such a major exploit will be quickly fixed.

So it wouldn’t be wise to try out the trick with the bomb and the unlimited inventory yourself. If the developers got wind of it, it could result in a ban.
So be careful if someone throws a Boogie Bomb at you and weapons are lying around! It’s better not to pick anything up if you’re caught in the dance craze.

Update: Apparently, the developers are completely removing the Boogie Bomb from the game until a fix for the exploit is found. However, it is supposed to come back afterwards.
