In Call of Duty: Warzone things get heated and victory is not given to anyone. We have 10 tips from a true expert for you that will significantly increase your chances and that not everyone knows.
Where do the tips come from? The “Call of Duty” expert TheXclusiveAce has compiled a list and provides 10 tips for the popular Battle Royale.
Some of the tricks are real insiders, probably known only to a few players. Others should be routine for well-informed fighters and are definitely worth observing.
10 Tips to Gain an Advantage in Call of Duty Warzone
You will find tips in this list to help you consider a headshot from a sniper rifle, learn from which height you should definitely use a parachute, or what happens to your cash after you have been eliminated.
Tip 1 – Use the Self-Revive Kit Properly
Here’s how to use the Self-Revive Kit properly: If you get shot in Warzone, that’s by no means the end. You can crawl injured on the ground and be picked up by a kind teammate. Alternatively, the Self-Revive Kit is available for purchase for $4,500.
When you start your own revive, a bar fills up slowly. Once it’s full, you can join the action again. However, if your helpful colleague decides to revive you, the revive bar doesn’t start again from zero but continues seamlessly.
This is why it’s useful: The trick about it is twofold:
- If a helper intervenes in the self-revive, you keep your expensive item – it does not disappear and can be used again later. You can start the self-revive process and have your colleague finish it as many times as you want.
- Your teammate can continue to fight and only needs to intervene shortly before the self-revive ends. This way, the enemy cannot easily advance or change position unseen.
Tip 2 – Know from Which Height You Need a Parachute
When do you take fall damage? In Warzone, you can climb many buildings or objects, but when does the jump into the depths no longer remain safe without a parachute? As it turns out, the pain threshold is currently at 13 meters.
If you are more than 13 meters from the ground, it is strongly recommended to open your parachute. The downside of your safe arrival, however, is that this option is very loud and alerts enemies. So try to rely on the parachute as little as possible.
Here’s how to measure the distance: If you look down vertically from a roof, edge of a cliff, or similar and place your marker (waypoint), the distance appears clearly visible in meters. Now you always know when you can safely jump without a parachute.
Tip 3 – Accurately Measure Distance on the Map
This is what the waypoint can do: The expert notes that this tip is relatively well-known, but he is often asked about it. Your waypoint can not only be used to indicate your marching direction or to mark enemies red for teammates. You can also measure all possible distances with it.
Mark an object or simply the landscape, and you will receive the practical distance in meters measured. If your target is too far away, open your map and place a marker there. This way, you can ping every point in the vast Warzone and know how many meters are between you and the target.
Tip 4 – Know How Close Enemies Really Are
Use the map effectively: In your battles in Warzone, you will be supported by a minimap that you should ideally keep an eye on at all times. If your opponents fire without a silencer or you have a surveillance drone circling, enemies will appear as a red dot on the minimap.
The maximum distance for this is exactly 250 meters. No matter how loud enemies are, if they are further away, you will not see any indication on the map and will have to rely on your hearing. Alternatively, you could open the large map for this information, but then you are quite vulnerable.
Tip 5 – How to Fly the Helicopter Properly
This is how to make yourself harder to kill as a pilot: Did you know that you can use flares as a helicopter pilot? The “Call of Duty” expert Ace admits (via YouTube) that he feels a bit embarrassed, as he was not aware of this until recently. When you get into the chopper, you will see the required key combination at the bottom left of the screen.
With these flares, you can deceive incoming missiles and cleverly counter the biggest enemy of helicopters. But choose the timing of your flares wisely, as they will only be available again after some recharge time.
Currently, vehicles are generally considered very dominant in Warzone and cause many players headaches. Also, MeinMMO author Benedict Grothaus owes the worst Warzone round of his career to the helicopters.
