In Clair Obscur there are a total of 8 Lost Gestrals that you can search for. We will show you where to find them and what you will get for it.
What are the Lost Gestrals? The Lost Gestrals are Gestral Kids that you can find on the continent’s map. For this, the Gestral Sastro gives you special rewards in a clearing at your camp.
The creatures you are looking for are relatively small and are often overlooked on the somewhat confusing map. In total, you can find 9 Lost Gestrals. Where you can find them and what rewards you get for it, you will find out here.
All Locations of the Lost Gestrals
You can find a total of 9 small Gestrals on the continent’s map. In closed areas or dungeons, you will never find them. You can usually recognize them by their striking color.
To search for them, you should be able to swim with Esquie, or better yet, fly. Otherwise, you won’t be able to reach certain areas. How to unlock all of Esquie’s abilities can be read here: Expedition 33: Unlock all abilities of Esquie
Location Gestral 1
You can find the first Gestral right in front of Esquie’s nest. You can hardly miss it unless you walk past it on purpose.
Location Gestral 2
You can find the second one in a small dead end when you walk towards the Stone Wave Cliffs. Keep to the right, and you should be able to find it quickly.
Location Gestral 3
You can find the third one on the same island where the “White Tree” area is located. It is on the southwestern side of the island.
Location Gestral 4
Creature number 4 can be easily found between two conspicuous green trees between Monocos Station and the Forgotten Battlefield.
Location Gestral 5
You can find this little one on an island northwest of Alt-Lumière.
Location Gestral 6
The sixth Lost one can be found on the beach north of the coastal cave.
Location Gestral 7
You can find number 7 in the red forest in the eastern part of the map. There it stands in the clearing between two groups of trees.
Location Gestral 8
In the northwest of the map, you will find an elevated area with gnarled trees. There you will find the eighth Gestral. It is also near Gestral number 5.
Location Gestral 9
For this Gestral, you must be able to fly with Esquie, as you cannot reach it otherwise. It is located at the Endless Tower on a platform.

The following rewards can be picked up from the Gestral Sastro in your camp if you have found the corresponding kids:

If you find all the Lost Gestrals, you will also unlock an achievement or trophy.
