Palworld recently received a major free update called Sakurajima. After a period of declining player numbers, the figures rose again shortly after the update, and players are excited about the new update.
Why is it worth playing Palworld again? A few days ago, the big free update Sakurajima in Palworld was released. After player numbers significantly plateaued in recent months, they rose to 100,000 players shortly after the update and have remained at a high level since then (via Steam DB).
The reactions to the new update seem to be mostly positive so far.

A new area and new bosses
What new features does the update bring? The biggest change is likely the new island in the game and the new Pals that come with it. However, in addition to a new area, there is also a huge amount of new content that should keep players engaged for the coming weeks.
There is a new raid boss and a new tower boss, both of which need to be overcome. Additionally, there is now an arena where you can compete against each other. Another new feature introduced into the game is skins. This has, however, made some players a bit sad due to the description, as some suspect that Pocketpair might offer paid skins.
What does the community think about the update? So far, the update seems to be very well received within the community. The user CoqeCas3
writes in a post on Reddit that he hasn’t played Palworld for three months, but now excitement is an understatement
.
However, not everyone feels the same way. The user HeartoftheHive
comments under the same post on Reddit that he belongs to the players who would finish the update within a few days. Therefore, he personally decides to wait for the next update to have more content at once.
Already shortly after the release, especially console players hoped for a port of the popular game Palworld. Whether they can continue to hope for Palworld on console can be read here: Is Palworld coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch? Here is the current status
