The Free2Play variant of Evolve has received a launch trailer, but when will PS4 and Xbox One owners join the 4vs1 carnage?
All new, all better? The trailer promises a lot
For almost 2 days, Evolve has been available in the Free2Play variant on Steam. To celebrate the start of the beta, Turtle Rock released a new trailer that we obviously want to share with you.
What were once paid DLCs can now be earned by any player with in-game currency, allowing them to enjoy more than 20 hunters and 5 different monsters (plus variations). However, players who have paid for the game in the past lose nothing and still have access to all purchased hunters and skins. We have summarized what additional bonuses there are for buyers and how the various new mechanics work in our “Evolve: What changes with Free2Play?” article.
When will Evolve Stage 2 come to PS4 and Xbox One?
Unlike PC players, PS4 and Xbox One owners are currently still waiting. The “old” version of Evolve is still running there and will probably do so for a while, as it has now been revealed on Twitter that the game will only launch on consoles once the PC beta is completed.
It can be assumed that the console launch will still have some delays, as there will certainly be some adjustments to the balance for this version of the game to compensate for the different precision of controls with the gamepad.
