The players in Fortnite are waiting for the new update 17.20 and are expecting a server downtime at any second. We are already taking a look at the highlights from the next patch.
When is the update coming? The new update 17.20 is rumored to come to Fortnite today, July 6, as speculated by the US site Dextero.com. Last time, Season 7 received new content and bug fixes two weeks ago, on June 22.
According to the source, the patch is expected to appear much earlier than anticipated – originally, July 13 was targeted. As of now (10:00 AM), the servers are accessible, and the game version remains 17.10. Should the patch indeed appear as anticipated, we will update this post on MeinMMO.
But whether the patch comes today or another time: Let’s take a look at the already known new POI location – that is, Point of Interest – and reveal where the alien invasion continues.

This skin is generating excitement: According to data miners, you will soon be able to own a new skin from basketball legend LeBron James (via Twitter). The price is expected to be around 1,500 V-Bucks (or 2,500 in a bundle) for the skin.
Additionally, there will already be a range of fixes that are likely to be included in update 17.20. On the official Trello, Epic developers reveal that they are tackling faulty controller mappings, and that soon you will be able to fish correctly from all vehicles. There will also be attempts to address some issues with opening the Cosmic Chests.
