NCSoft’s Asia hit Blade & Soul is still pending. Meanwhile, other regions of the world receive new patches and versions, and NCSoft is now announcing a localization of Tree of Savior for the West.
There is still nothing new about a West port of Blade & Soul – it has been nearly two months since the last sign of life was heard, which was merely a thin one: We definitely want to bring Blade and Soul to the West, we still need to fill some positions.
Meanwhile, Blade and Soul is alive and well in other regions. In Taiwan, the major expansion White and Blue Mountain is coming and will be celebrated there with a trailer and a new title song.
With unease, Blade&Soul fans waiting for a West release must consider a new development. NCSoft is asking for the help of fans to translate the new project Tree of Savior into English. In the past, fans blamed WildStar for taking precedence over Blade&Soul in the West. Hopefully, the impression that there can only be one is not confirmed.
Meanwhile, NCSoft likely has completely different worries in Korea.
