Which Battlefield is it about? Battlefield 3 was released on October 25, 2011, in North America and on October 27, 2011, in Europe for PC, Xbox 260, and PlayStation 3. It impressed at the time with the new version of the Frostbite engine, which thrilled in terms of graphics quality and destruction.
The campaign, co-op missions, and multiplayer appealed to different shooter fans. However, the centerpiece was, as in most Battlefield entries, the large battles with up to 64 players, where infantry encountered tanks, jets, helicopters, and jeeps on numerous maps.
However, Battlefield 3 was not perfect. With various technical issues, the external Battlelog website, the new Origin requirement, and the numerous paid DLCs, which further splintered the community, the development team repeatedly undermined the fun of the game.
