On June 6th, the new Chapter High Isle for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will be released. However, you don’t have to wait that long. Today, you can start reaping rewards through ESO livestreams. How exactly you can do that, you will find out here at MeinMMO.
Which ESO live streams are we talking about? You can decide for yourself. You can choose from several ESO streamers to receive these rewards. The important thing is that the respective live stream is found under the ESO category on Twitch.
If you don’t know which channel currently has ESO streams, Twitch itself can help you. On the ESO Stream Team page on Twitch, you will find a long list of members of the official stream team. In principle, you can also receive drops from streamers not in this team.
The decisive factor is the ESO category and the tag “Drops enabled” below the video.
Why is it worth watching ESO live streams on Twitch?
It’s simple: Just for watching, you receive some items that will look great in your ESO collection.
What items will I get? In total, you can unlock several crown ouroboros chests. In addition, there is a companion, a costume, and even a mount. Here’s an overview of all the rewards:
- Ghostly Housecat (peaceful companion)
- Relentless Harvester (costume)
- Sun Gold Bay Pureblood (mount)
- 3 x 2 Crown Ouroboros Chests
To really get all the rewards, you need to pay attention to when and how long you watch ESO streams.
What times do I need to watch? You need to keep an eye on the following time frames:
- June 2nd – 9th: Watch for 4 hours – 2 x Crown Ouroboros Chests & Ghostly Housecat
- June 10th – 15th: Watch for 4 hours – 2 x Crown Ouroboros Chests & Relentless Harvester
- June 16th – 26th:
- Watch for 4 hours – Ghostly Housecat
- Watch for 6 hours – Relentless Harvester
- Watch for 8 hours – Sun Gold Bay Pureblood (mount) & 2 x Crown Ouroboros Chests
At first glance, it may seem more complicated than it really is. You can receive 2 Crown Ouroboros Chests in each of the three time frames. So in total, that’s 6 Crown Ouroboros Chests. For the collectibles, you only strictly need to watch a total of 8 hours in the last time frame. However, you would miss out on 4 chests.
If you really want to get all the possible rewards, you need to proceed as follows:
- June 2nd – 9th: Watch for 4 hours – 2 x Crown Ouroboros Chests & Ghostly Housecat
- June 10th – 15th: Watch for 4 hours – 2 x Crown Ouroboros Chests & Relentless Harvester
- June 16th – 26th: Watch for 8 hours – 2 x Crown Ouroboros Chests & Sun Gold Bay Pureblood (mount)
First, you must connect your Twitch account with your ESO account
But there is something you definitely need to pay attention to. You can really only receive the rewards if your accounts are connected. ESO needs to know that you’ve watched live streams on Twitch.
How do I connect my ESO account with my Twitch account? It’s super quick, and you can do it in 2 ways.
Connect your accounts via Twitch
It really just takes a few clicks. Here’s how to do it step by step:
- Log in to twitch.tv.
- Click on this link for Twitch Drops.
- Select ESO from the list. Then details will open for this.
- You can now link your accounts at the Link section.
Connect your accounts via the official ESO website
- Log in to the official ESO website.
- On the left in the account overview, you will find the point: linked accounts.
- There is a purple Twitch button.
- Connect the accounts by clicking the button.
Connected? Then you can start watching happily. You can keep track of your progress during viewing. Click on your profile in the upper right corner, and a menu will open. You will quickly see your progress in the middle. In the “Drops” category, you will find a bar that fills up proportionally.
What should I avoid? On some browsers, you should not mute the stream using the icons located in the picture area. However, you can mute your browser tab, and it still counts. Or you can just watch the stream without cheating. Maybe you will find a channel that you also want to visit outside of the event.
If you can’t get enough of the rewards even after this event, you can also focus on the ESO in-game events. You can find the latest news in our ESO Event Ticker 2022. Have fun collecting!
