The economic system in the space MMORPG EVE Online is one of the most important pillars of the game and will be expanded in the upcoming addon Lifeblood with refineries and mining on moons.
The refineries are massive factories in space that players of EVE Online must build themselves. Here, raw materials are processed to create goods. This will likely affect the entire economy in New Eden and also spark new tensions among the various factions.
Anyone who wants to claim power in a specific area of the market can launch an attack on a refinery and ensure, by its destruction, that only their goods are in circulation.
Mining and Pirates
This is a new feature that the upcoming addon Lifeblood will bring. Also included is mining on moons, which is related to the refineries. You mine resources on moons and then process them in the factories.
Also, pirates will take notice of you. New bases of the buccaneers have already been sighted, who now smell profit if they can seize the newly mined raw materials.
