We wanted to know which weapons in Monster Hunter World (PS4 and Xbox One) are your favorites. The survey has been evaluated, and we will present to you the weapons from the single and multiplayer modes of Monster Hunter World that you consider the best.

In the last “Mein-MMO-Asks-Survey” we wanted to know from you which of the 14 weapon types you prefer in Monster Hunter World. Both in single-player and multiplayer modes.

Over 2,700 hunters voted. The result as of February 12, 2018, was surprising.

The most popular weapons for the single-player mode

In solo play, the good old Longsword clearly leads the way. 17 percent of all players love it. But Leyas favorite weapon, the Insect Glaive, is also very popular and is preferred by 14 percent of players. However, popularity drops off soon after.

The Light Bowgun is preferred by 5 percent, while the heavy version is only preferred by 1 percent. And no one seems to like the poor Hunting Horn.

The most popular weapons for the multiplayer mode

In multiplayer mode, hunters slightly adapt their preferred weapon type to the party situation. In a group, the Bow is 4 percentage points more popular, and the Hunting Horn finds a few more friends than when players go hunting solo.
