Warhammer: 40,000 Eternal Crusade is now available on Steam. The shooting in the distant future can now begin.
Fans have long waited for a decent Warhammer 40,000 shooter and yesterday that dream came true. Because yesterday (09/23/2016) “Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade” was released on Steam – at least in the “preliminary” release version.
Bolters at full price – with addon promises
For just under 50 Euros, everyone can now enter the shooter and spread the Emperor’s justice in the universe (i.e., shoot everything that is Xenos or somehow corrupt).

The developers say:
“Those of you who think it is too early – do not worry. You can come back anytime later and enjoy all the free expansions that will already be there and start shooting the heretics again. We understand that a lot has changed in the game since we announced it a few years ago.”
With this step, the development of Eternal Crusade is by no means finished. The developers have already promised that plenty of expansions will be released that will make the game better and better over the coming months, until the “vision of an almost perfect Warhammer game” is fulfilled.
Cortyn says: At around 50€, the game is already asking quite a lot – a bit too much for my taste to take the “cat in the bag” again. Although the developers promise that there will be new and especially free expansions in the coming years, unfortunately, you hear this from absolutely every game at this stage of development these days. I don’t want to imply anything against the developers from Behaviour, but in the shadow of numerous other games, it means for me for now: Deliver, guys and gals.
