The developers of The Elder Scrolls Online are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the MMORPG and distributing gifts. Since April 15, 2024, you can secure a DLC and a mount for free if you meet certain requirements.
Which DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online is currently free? From April 15 to April 29, 2024, you can secure the Thieves Guild DLC released in March 2016. This content pack grants you access to the area of Hew’s Bane as well as the quests and skill line of the namesake Thieves Guild.
If you have always wanted to explore Tamriel as a pickpocket, this DLC is a must-have. It expands the legal system of the MMORPG with heists and burglaries and provides your hero with exclusive skills that are essential for efficient stealing and sneaking.
The Thieves Guild is a great way to shorten the wait for Gold Road – here is the trailer for the upcoming chapter of Elder Scrolls Online:
What do I need to do to receive the DLC? You must have or complete the achievement “Pickpocket” in TESO. It’s quite simple! Just pickpocket any resident of Tamriel.
With the DLC in hand, you can even secure a second anniversary gift. If you explore the two caves in the Hew’s Bane region and defeat the respective leaders there, you will earn the achievement “Cave Explorer of Hew’s Bane” for females or “Cave Explorer of Hew’s Bane” for males.
Those who master this achievement can look forward to the mount “Treasure Hunter Horse” in celebration of the 10th anniversary.
Special content and discounts until April 29
If the Thieves Guild is not enough for you, from April 15 to April 29, you can secure another DLC at a discounted price. The Dark Brotherhood from May 2016 is available at a 20% discount during this period in the Crown Store of the online role-playing game.
What is included in the Dark Brotherhood DLC? Owners of the content pack can join the namesake Brotherhood and pursue the career of an assassin – including a new skill line. The DLC also includes the Gold Coast region and content such as bounty quests, assassinations, and bloody contracts.
During the promotional period, some of the daily and weekly Endeavors will focus on the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild DLCs. If you complete these, you can look forward to particularly lucrative rewards. At least in Tamriel, crime pays off.
If you’re more interested in current challenges? Since March 2024, TESO has returned to the Maelstrom Arena! The new dungeons of Elder Scrolls Online exude Orsinium vibes
